Thankful Thursday

Colossians 2: 6-7
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. (NIV)

Today I am thankful for: my mom.

The past few days I have been thinking about this post and although several things came to mind, I wanted to narrow it down to one topic. I just kept coming back to my mom.

A few things I love about her that she has taught me:

1. A quiet strength rooted in faith.

2. A deep appreciation for music.

3. The importance of being a never-ending cheerleader, encourager, and unwavering presence for your children.

I love you mom. I am so thankful to have a best friend and mom all in one. :)

I love reading your Thankful Thursdays and moms are something to be thankful for. I think you have a pretty special one. I hope you are having a good week and I am praying that you will be able to make it to Bible Study tomorrow. Miss you- I hope we can get together soon.
